ecorche as a phenomenon in art. First, we will shortly explain what an \u00e9corch\u00e9 is. Afterwards, we will explore the uniqueness of\u00a0<i>L&#8217;\u00e9corch\u00e9 combattant<\/i>\u00a0among other \u00e9corch\u00e9s of the 18th and 19th centuries. This is a story of a static figure becoming a powerful demonstration of the link between muscle and motion.<\/p><p>Read about our discovery of a plaster figurine of Caudron&#8217;s\u00a0<i>L&#8217;\u00e9corch\u00e9 combattant<\/i>\u00a0in the Museum of the History of Medicine in Riga and the process of creating its digital model\u00a0<strong><a title=\"3D anatomy
